Makeup can be fun, expressive and something we enjoy using every day. ecoLOOK believes it can also be made with more consideration for what goes into it and what gets left behind.
Founded by Sophie Lawrence in 2020, ecoLOOK creates naturally crafted, cruelty-free cosmetics with an emphasis on thoughtful ingredients, less plastic and accessible prices.

From refillable eyeshadows and bamboo palettes to mascara, lipstick and face products, the idea is to make more considered beauty choices feel achievable rather than exclusive.

A different approach to everyday makeup

ecoLOOK grew from Sophie’s own desire to find cosmetics that combined natural ingredients and less plastic without the higher prices she kept encountering. What began as an idea has developed into a full collection of makeup designed around beauty, self-expression and more mindful choices.

Refillability is one of the things that caught our attention. Instead of replacing an entire product every time it runs out, ecoLOOK offers individual eyeshadow refills alongside reusable bamboo magnetic palettes. Its bamboo compact can also be refilled with compatible pans, giving the packaging a life beyond a single product.

The brand is also refreshingly open about ingredients, with a dedicated section explaining what goes into its products. Packaging is considered too, with honeycomb paper and eco-friendly tape used instead of conventional plastic packaging materials.

What we like about ecoLOOK is that it doesn’t treat more thoughtful beauty as something that should only be available at a premium. Sophie’s original idea was to make these choices more accessible, while still creating makeup people genuinely want to use.
